We love to hear from our customers--send in a photo and Tell Your Story! Recently, one of our faithful customers wrote in about her latest ShadowCase. Don't those little booties look just so cute? We love the way this outfit looks against the green "Adaline" StoryBoard. Thanks for the ideas and inspiration!
"I love the way his little outfit snugs into the ShadowCase and looks so clean and crisp. It was very easy to put together. Now his outfit is out of the closet and hanging on his wall where he and I can see it. Every morning when he wakes up he points to his shadowbox and says, "Baby". It is so sweet to see him notice it, and as he gets older I can remember the baby that he was!" (Elaine)

ShadowCase a Mother's Day Gift
Mother's Day is just around the corner...wondering what to give as a meaningful gift for that special woman in your life? We were touched by a customer's project that she worked on at a recent Ruth and Rose ShadowCase Workshop--soon to be given as a beautiful Mother's Day gift for a one-in-a-million grandmother.
She had two heirloom rings that we tied a pink ribbon around, then pinned to her StoryBoard with pink designer pins, along with the hand-embroidered handkerchief. We also inked the 2 photo frames with pink inking stamp pads--it looked great with the black and white photos. For a final touch, we attached a silver collector's spoon with 3-D adhesive dots (we adore those little things for so many fix-it reasons!)
What a rewarding morning it was, helping her put together priceless photos and keepsakes into a touching and thoughtful gift--this is what we live for!
p.s. Thanks for letting us use your project photo!
With memories in mind,
Ruth and Rose

Lemons, lemons, lemons...
Dear Friends,
A fresh bowl of lemons is like opening the kitchen window. Light and fragrant - the sweet taste of summer, just around the corner. You may want to pick a few lemons yourself and try this delicious Lemon Ice Cream Crumble. A family favorite - so pucker up and enjoy...

The Robin is the One
Dear Friends,
Isn't it wonderful to hear birds again? Winter seemed so endless in our garden, their singing was a breath of fresh air! So to celebrate their return, we are including one of our favorite poems:
The Robin is the One
The robin is the one
That interrupts the morn
With hurried,few express reports
When March is scarcely on.
The robin is the one
That overflows the noon
With her cherubic quantity,
An April but begun.
The robin is the one
That speechless from her nest
Submits that home and certainty
And sanctity are best.
Emily Dickinson
Happy Nesting to you all!
With memories in mind,
Ruth and Rose
